Mission & Values

The Baltimore Coffee Collective is an organization that aims to support the local coffee community. We hope to create an environment that supports coffee lovers in the workplace and beyond by organizinng events to interact with each other, share ideas/frustrations, and develop skills in a secure environment. Our core values include: diversity, inclusion, curiosity, collaborative growth, and education.

Code of Conduct

The Baltimore Coffee Collective is dedicated to fostering a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. All guests and associates must maintain a degree of respect and courtesy towards each other

By attending events and meetings, or by  sponsoring, hosting, or affiliating with the Baltimore Coffee Collective in any way, you agree to adhere to the following code of conduct. Violations may result in expulsion without refund, restorative actions, and any lawful repercussions thereafter.

 

Respect others: Treat everyone with respect and decency, regardless of their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any facet of their identity.

 

Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Harassment includes: inappropriate verbal comments relating to gender, gender identity and/or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, childbirth or medical condition. It also applies to unwanted sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, and unwanted sexual attention.

 

Be mindful of your behavior: Avoid actions that could make others feel unsafe or unwelcome. This includes but is not limited to unwanted physical contact, aggressive behavior, inappropriate language, or sustained disruption of events.

 

If you are subjected to any misconduct, or witness behavior that violates this agreement, we ask that it is immediately reported to Baltimore Coffee Collective volunteers or venue staff. Any actions deemed necessary and appropriate will be taken to maintain safety and civility. If you feel any immediate threat to personal safety then please contact 911.
